Motorcycles Bajaj
The company was founded in 1945 and was originally engaged in the import of Italian scooters - two-wheeled Vespa and three-wheeled Ape. In 1959, the Indian government acquired a license and transferred production rights to Bajaj Auto. In 1970, the company launched its 100,000th scooter (until 1971 they carried the Vespa brand), and by 1977, it had already produced the same number of scooters annually. In 1986, production reached half a million cars a year, and in 1995, a million. But by the end of the century, sales began to fall. The situation was saved by the Rajiv Bajaj child, who debuted in 2001, the Pulsar motorcycle with 150 and 180 cm³ motors. In the Indian market, dominated by 100 cc Hero-Honda, Pulsar is a real sport bike. In 2007, sales began on the 220 cc version of the Pulsar, India’s most powerful and fastest motorcycle.
